Theatre at the Ridge is proud to welcome you to Cedar Ridge's third season.  We have a spectacular line-up which features something for everybody.  From the Fall Show to  the Children's Show to In the Heights (our Musical Production) to Just for Laughs (Comedy & Improv Showcase), there is something at Theatre at the Ridge for every single member of your family.  We have a new addition to this year's season, Shakespeare in the Courtyard.

Fall Show:  Our Town

The Story:
Our Town explores the lives of people living in a small, quintessentially American town.  It was first produced in 1938 and received the Pulitzer Prize for Literature. 

The play is divided into three aspects of the human experience:
Act One:  Daily Life
Act Two:  Love/Marriage
Act Three:  Death / Loss

Children's Show:  Charlotte's Web

The Story: 
The story is filled with memorable characters and their relationships - the Arables, the Zuckermans, the farm animals and the townspeople.  Charlotte's Web  is the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a spider named Charlotte.  When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes a message praising Wilbur (such as "Some Pig") in her web in order to persuade the farmer to let him live.  This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will give actors and audience members and evening of enchantment.

The story explores three days in the characters' lives in the New York City Dominican-American neighborhood of Washington Heights.
