The Theatre Boosters is a volunteer organization that assists the directors of the Cedar Ridge High School Theatre Department in reaching the theatre program goals. It provides support and assistance for theatre activities as requested by the Directors, as well as, financial support to the theatre as deemed necessary.
The membership of the organization consists of all theatre parents. You don’t need to have a student in the cast or in the crew – all with an interest in the theatre program are welcome! No special skills are required to volunteer. We are looking for compassionate individuals. Parents or legal guardians who have children in the theatre program are eligible for membership. All parents can participate in all theatre booster activities, but only members are eligible to vote.
As a booster club member you’ll receive the following benefits:
1) Advance notice of all our shows and social events
2) Participate in Volunteer opportunities to lend your skills (carpentry, sewing, tickets, sales, etc.) to our productions.
The membership fee is $30.00 a year. The meetings will be held once a month at 6:30 pm in the Theatre Classroom unless otherwise posted. Meeting dates and times will be posted on the website at www.crhstheatre.org. Your attendance is not a requirement of membership, however, all members are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings to help plan theatre activities. Parents/Guardians will be asked to volunteer and support your student with the events that he/she is involved with, even those parents/guardians that are not a paid booster member.
